Initially, a partnership between the Alzheimer Society of Canada and the Canadian Nurses Foundation approved the following projects through the Caregiving and Alzheimer Disease Research Program.

This partnership has since been expanded to include the CIHR Institute of Aging (IA) and Institute of Gender and Health (IGH).
